Tregyrnog Lad to make the most out of the second try at Sittingbourne through the Sittingbourne Super Maiden Stayers
The entries that have gathered for the Sittingbourne Super Maiden Stayers have raced at multiple race tracks rather than only Sittingbourne, but with the exception of Hollyoak Lucy. Landing as the runner-up in the most recent race after trying his luck at five different race tracks is the three-year-old, Tregyrnog Lad. He has taken up the 708 metres flat challenge scheduled on Sunday, 2nd September and has the gaze glued at the ?150 prize money.
Threatening his domination on the track today are Hollyoak Lucy, Benro Spot, Dudleys Lady, Fivestar Bessy and Brinkleys Sky.
The H. Keightley trained has raced at quite a few venues even though he started racing just during this season starting from March, 2012. He has competed at Oxford, Monmore, Hove, Coventry, Hall Green, Swindon and Sittingbourne.
Droopys Maldini?s son won his career debut after getting trained at Monmore over 264 metres on 19th March, 2012. Ten days down the month he bagged a 450 metres race at Oxford. The three-year-old went wide, raced on from the second and then the fourth position, eventually running in for the wire and making to it in 27.30 seconds.
He landed the race by the margin of four lengths and following him the quickest down the track was, Westmead Palace.
His next stop and success was at Monmore over 480 metres on 3rd April but the prospects of striking a hat-trick faded when the black hound ended third in the Coral Hove Maiden ? Tri on 15th April, 2012 at Hove over 515 metres.
The race was won by, Colorful Marco, who timed the track distance in 30.04 seconds.
Failure in the next three races finally got him the Coral Maiden (Duplicated) on 5th July, 2012 over 515 metres. Taking the rails after racing out of the third trap and then leading on from the third spot settled the race in 30.01 seconds.
The black son out of, Pepsi Tops, ended as the runner-up in his debut attempt at Sittingbourne in the Sittingbourne Stayers on 26th August, 2012 over 642 metres.
Ending second over 642 metres speaks volumes about his ability to prove strong over 708 metres too.
