First Timer - Electrical - DIY Chatroom - DIY Home Improvement Forum

This is the first time Im trying electrical. Im making a place for a stand alone oven and had to remove part of a counter, upper cabinet, and part of wall. I need an outlet for the oven and the microwave that will go above it. I found a box buried in the wall - one wire went to the outlet that was already there and the other to the fan that was above the old cook top.

These are the parts I have (see pictures)

1) OUTLET FOR THE OVEN. Where should I mount the box? How high?

2) OUTLET FOR MICROWAVE. The old wire connected directly from the juntion box to the fan - it just ran out of the wall. I watched a couple of videos and saw people installing an outlet in the cabinet space above the microwave after the small cabinet is installed above it. Is that they way to do it?

Note: The big pipe is a gas pipe that is being removed on Monday. The smaller pipe on the floor is a water pipe that was hidden under the cabinet I removed (some other DIYer).

Thanks for any advice!
