My neighbor's son's 4 kids removed - Adoption.com Forums

Oh my goodness. Just found out. My 80-yr-old neighbor is mom to 3 sons, about 40-50. Two of whom have children. She herself is a hard worker, great person, but MAN, two of her boys are pretty lazy.

One of her sons lives with her, to make sure she's OK since her husband died. He does a lot for her, really a nice guy.

I was just there, they said one son's 4 children are now in foster care. You know it's bad when someone tells you that, and you accidentally blurt out "Good!" -- and they don't bat an eyelash that you said that. He married a gal who's addicted to drugs -- of course she got pregnant to snag him. She had a daughter, 5, at the time. That woman is so lazy, she *literally* used to throw diapers out the window into the back yard, instead of putting them in the trash. They lost that house, into public housing.

My heart has really bled for these children for years. Most of them are obese or nearing that. Dad hasn't worked in at least 4 years. Children are in separate foster homes, which I imagine is best. They need to learn what a "normal" life is like. I talked to mom's brother once, and told him the couple was at risk of losing the kids, and he said, "No one in our family would take her kids, no one wants to be tied to her."

Still, amazing news.
