First South BanCorp. Inc. : Approximately 176,900 shares changed hands, a 3,848.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.19 or 2.8 percent to $6.56.

First United Corp. : Approximately 73,800 shares changed hands, a 1,253.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.01 or .2 percent to $7.46.
